HOST A FUNDRAISER
Hosting a Noodles for Neuroblastoma spaghetti dinner is an easy and fun way to gather your community together in support of pediatric cancer research. Almost everyone loves spaghetti and you can tailor your event to the unique style of your town. Selling tickets will be the primary fundraiser- but there are many opportunities to generate additional donations by offering silent auction items, raffles, 50/50’s and even donation jars. Your first task will be finding a good location to host your dinner and we’ve included a few suggestions in case you need a little inspiration.

The 4th annual Play Like a Pro Charity Hockey Game at Madison Square Garden in memory of Talia Castellano took place on February 9, 2017. The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), in partnership with the Band of Parents and the Garden of Dreams Foundation brought together the private equity world and their service providers for an amazing hockey experience and the opportunity to benefit two great causes.
Through the generosity of Madison Square Garden, this unique event gave players the opportunity to play hockey on the Garden's ice. Following the charity game, attendees took part in an ACG-hosted sports-related presentation and watched the Rangers v. Predators game from a private suite on the Chase Bridge. All proceeds go to help the Band of Parents and the Garden of Dreams.
The Band recently held Put Cancer in the Penalty Box: a skating charity event with games, raffles, and refreshments on September 18 at The Ice Hutch in Mt Vernon, NY. All proceeds are being donated to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to fund pediatric cancer research
The Band of Parents hosted a tent in the Benefactors’ Pavilion at the Barclays 2016 PGA Tour. Spectators watched the top 125 players on the PGA Tour compete in the comfort of a climate-controlled tent featuring indoor dining and outdoor patio seating.
The Band hosted the 4th annual Cocktails for a Cure event at the Dream Downtown's PH-D Rooftop Lounge on August 1, 2016 from 6-9 PM.
The 5th annual Evening of Hope benefit took place at Marquee on May 4, 2016. Thank you to the staff at the Marquee, all of our sponsors and everyone who attended this inspiring benefit. The Band was thrilled to honor the Tepperberg family for their dedication to fighting pediatric cancer. This year, the Inaugural Jerome Tepperberg Award was given to Dr. Julia Glade Bender, for for compassion and dedication to the care of our children and the advancement of pediatric cancer research. All of the proceeds from this very successful evening will go towards neuroblastoma research.
