Monday Moments of Hope – New Banding Together Program
The time between Halloween and the New Year is often hard, as we struggle with new traditions or reflect on old memories. Band of Parents continues to be your network for support, through our private Sloan-Kettering Facebook group and our designated board members who are here for support and grief. We also want to help you feel your voice is heard and that you feel more connected to the community at Band of Parents with a new program!
We are excited to share our new communications tool, called Banding Together! We will be hosting our first “Banding Together” video roundtable via Zoom conferencing on December 12, at 8:30 pm est. Our goal is to answer questions, create connections and share tools that are available for you, to help build awareness in your home communities. During our December 12 roundtable we will be bringing you a funding update on our research trials, and gather your questions to include at our annual in-person and conference call meeting with the doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
The date for our annual meeting at MSKCC is February 12, 2020. You will hear more about that in January. We will also be sharing our new fundraising tool kit!
You can participate with us in our first Banding Together roundtable on December 12 by watching via Zoom video. If you are unable to do that you can dial in on your phone. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
